Description

It is said that when the going gets tough the tough gets going. Knowledge is tested best when 

the situations are out of domain. In engineering also there are various situations that are 

unknown. To test the ability of a true geek this event throws a challenge at you to show your 

skills in the unknown land.

There would be two rounds in the event- screening and mains.

In screening, knowledge of frequently used programming languages would be tested. The paper 

would be objective in nature. The selected candidates would appear for the mains.

The mains would comprise of an unknown programming language. The tutorials for the same would 

be provided to the candidates after the screening results. Candidates are supposed to go 

through these tutorials and apply this knowledge in the mains. The name of the programming 

language will be announced after the screening results are out.

Rules and regulations:-

Team Size :1
Entry fees : Rs.15 per head
No fees for Abacus members (members must register their name beforehand)

Finalist will be selected through a preliminary test.

1. This test will be comprised of 25  objective questions to be solved in 25 minutes.

2. Questions are very thought provoking and emphasis will be given on basic understanding 

of programming languages.

ABOUT MAINS:

Selected candidates will be given some programming problems. Solutions of these problems 

are to be provided in the predefined new language. Time allotted will be 2 hrs.
