Rules –
1- Participants have to post their blog on www.blogspot.com .
2- Participants have to post the blog on any two out of three topics mentions above.
3- CUT COPY PASTE is not permitted .Doing the same will lead to disqualification ,however ideas can  be taken from web.
4- Content should be kept short and simple.
5- Only original ideas shall be invited
6- Links for the blog should be mailed to geekacon@gmail.com  before Wednesday
     14-04-2010 10:00 PM.

Event Description:


“Yes, blogging is entertainment. It is performance. Each blog post a show, sometimes an opera,

sometimes a 30 second commercial. Like a show, it may start with a bang, lead you along from

song to song, have a great climatic moment, then leave the audience wanting more.”Welcome to writing….

Prelims  :

1. There are no teams ,only individual participation.

2. For the prelims participants will be given a topic based on a common issue  two days prior.

3. Word limit for the content is 500 words and selection for the mains will be done on the

      basis of originality and creativity.

4. “NO” CUT COPY PASTE of entire article shall be allowed,doing which the participant will be

      disqualified.However,quotes can be used.

5. Content is to be mailed to below-mentioned email addresses.

Mains  :


1. There will be a total of 3 topics to choose from. The topics will cover a range of themes,

     issues and subjects. They may be abstract or specific.

2. Participants will have to post their content on wordpress/blogspot.
