This is a contest where candidates have to develop a website within a period of time on a given theme.
This event is divided into 2 stages:
1.Preliminary round : 30 OBJECTIVE QUESTIONS-25 MINUTES
2.Main round
Rules and Regulation for Main round
1) You should make your pages content-driven and easy to understand for visitors to locate what they need.
2) Pages should be well-organized with a top-down design so that people can easily browse to where they want to go on your site.
3) Consistency should be there among the pages which makes navigation a much easier task.
4) When choosing colors, choose colors that don't clash, and make sure there is a strong contrast between the text and the background.
5) There needs to be enough content on each page to make visiting it worthwhile.
6) Make use of the full browser window.
7) No need to bring your own laptop, system will be provided to you
8) Your website have minimum 4 pages linked to the homepage.
9) Theme for the website will be provided by us at the spot of the event.
10) We will also provide the internet-facility during the event .
11) You can use flash to make your website better.
12) You can use Macromedia Dreamviewer/frontpage/MS visual studio/any tools to develop your website.
13) The time for completing this event is 3 hrs.
14) You can make the site dynamic(atleast 2 pages) and static .
