Event description :-
There will be two rounds.
About preliminaries :-
1. This round will be written, testing your basic knowledge about Computers and
Operating systems (Windows XP, Vista, Windows-7, Linux etc.)
2. Questions will be very thought provoking and emphasis will be mainly on the
practical knowledge of computers.
3. Friends, let me make one thing very clear to you. You need not to be a
Computer genius to solve these questions. So, if u think you are pretty good
with computers, then let’s have a game……!!!!
Students who will be shortlisted from this round will enter in Mains round.
About mains :-
1. Every team will be provided one computer system.
2. Each will be given a set of problems which they have to solve in the given time
by accessing various directories (files/folders) in the computers.
3. Problem statements will be description of final results to be obtained,Like
Change the password of current user account(isn’t it easy??)
4. Points will be awarded on the basis of relevance of output to be achieved and the
approach.
